How much cash can a refinance free up?
Find the cash available at a given loan-to-value, the new payment, and the real cost of paying off other debts with it.
01Home & current loan
02New loan
03Debts being paid off (optional)
ƒHow this is calculated
- Max new loan = value × max LTV. Cash = max loan − closing costs − current payoff.
- Rolling short-term debt into a 30-year mortgage can lower the monthly payment but cost more total interest unless you pay it down faster. Both totals are shown.
- Your existing low-rate balance would also move to the new rate. A HELOC or home equity loan leaves the first mortgage alone, so see that calculator.
Estimates for illustration only. This is not a loan offer, rate quote, or commitment to lend. Results come only from the numbers entered above. Interest rates are examples you supply, not advertised rates, so check current rates before deciding. Fee schedules and limits shown are published figures that can change.
